Quilt Deliveries Gabrielle's Corner

We have seven quilts ready to go to Gabrielle's Corner in Council Bluffs.  Our prayers go with these quilts as they find their way to the homes of the young mom's and new babies.

Quilt Retreat 2012 Pictures

This year's UFO retreat was a wonderful success.  We may be figuring out how to do this retreat thing!  We had 26 quilters and perfect weather!!  As productive as we were, I am sure ALL our UFO's have been completed now!!

What a way to start the day!
I am going to post a few pictures on this blog but to see the full album, check out our facebook page for Quilts from the Bluffs.

We have a tradition of doing a gift exchange on Friday evening.  Always good for a laugh or two and some even get a nice gift to take home.

Saturday evening we did a Show N Tell...

Some took a break from the retreat to venture to nearby establishments.

Christy found a quaint shop in Louisville where you could dress up for a tea party.  She did the dress up part but passed on the tea.

Others made it to the Plattsmouth quilt shop that is in the process of going out of business.  Did someone say "SALE"??

But most of the retreat was spend quilting, quilting, quilting...

Here's to 2013 and the "Wendy Wonky and the Quilting Factory"...  stay tuned!!

UFO's Ahead

Tomorrow is our 5th annual quilt retreat sponsored by Quilts from the Bluffs.  This is a highlight of our year and everyone is anxious to get there.  I'm sure today everyone is busy packing and making their final project selections.

Stay tuned for pictures after the retreat.  I am encouraging everyone that attends to bring a  camera and take lots of pictures to share with the group.

Here's to a wonderful UFO encounter with all our friends...alien and otherwise.

More Project Linus Quilts

I have pictures of more quilts that will be going to Project Linus tomorrow.  I tried to crop them but for some reason there is a property that is not allowing it to be saved.  ???  Sometimes, the whole computer thing is very frustrating.
