Time:     6:00-9:00
·         Drop off blocks or quilts.
·         Pick up fabric.

No RSVP needed but I would like to know if you plan to stay and quilt so I can have the space set up for you.
Quilt Patterns we will focus on:
Flannel Rag Quilts
Twin Size (10 x 12) or Queen Size (12 x 13)
·         9” square flannel pieces (240 squares needed for twin, 312 for queen)
·         8” batting squares (120 for twin, 156 for queen)
24-patch blocks
Make scrappy 24-patch blocks (4x6) from 2 ½” squares.  Unfinished size should be 8 ½” x 12 ½”.  These will be sashed with a solid 2 ½” sashing with 2 ½” scrappy corner sashing squares.  30 blocks per quilt (6 blocks across, 5 rows.)
The top will measure 62” x 74” before borders.  We will add borders to make the quilts twin size or larger.
Alternative: Make 42 blocks (7 across, 6 rows) without borders to make a 72” x 88” quilt.
