We are going to be starting a new quilt called Arkansas Cross Roads. This quilt uses lots of 2 1/2" squares of scrap fabric and I am hoping to see our scrap stash depleting at least a little with this awesome quilt.
If this quilt intimidates you, let me help you break it down. This quilt is made up of four-patch blocks and squares with two corners "snowballed" (a 2 1/2" square sewn on two opposite corners on the diagonal. So we will just take it one four-patch/snowball at a time and the results will be amazing.
This is a good quilt to work on in pairs so buddy up with someone and see what you can do!!
Our own Leona Barker celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary last month. Congratulations, Leona!! We celebrate with you.

Planning for 2013
We are going to be planning next year's quilt patterns soon. We would like your feedback. Do you have a specific pattern or a quilting technique you would like to work on in this group? Please email your suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org. There are many more quilt patterns then there are days in the year but we want to work on quilts that are interesting for you. We are looking forward to your input.
Had to throw this in, too... (my grandson, Camden)
Hope to see everyone on Saturday!!
